Lobbyist introductions to City officials


Is a lobbyist permitted to introduce themself to City officials prior to registering as a lobbyist under the City rules?   

Yes. A lobbyist is permitted to introduce themself to City officials prior to registration.  Registration is not required until a lobbyist engages in lobbying for which they receive economic consideration of more than $2,500 in that quarter of a calendar year.
